Movut Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 17, 2026 · Version: 2
1. Who provides the service
Gabriel Jesús Alcarra Bolívar, Tax ID (NIF) 60435962N, address Calle de Tucán 36, 4.º B, 28025 Madrid (Spain). Contact: hola@movut.app.
2. What Movut is
An app for iPhone (and, when available, Android) for making progress on what matters: My North, goals, projects and steps, tasks, habits, focus mode, weekly review and progress. You need an account to use it (email, Apple or Google), which can only be open on one device at a time; your data is saved to it and you can share projects. How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
3. Age and capacity
Movut is for adults 18 and over only who can enter into a contract. The app checks this the first time you open it.
4. Subscription, trial and renewal
- Movut requires a monthly subscription, whose price including taxes is shown in the app and in the store before you pay (currently €4.99 per month in Spain; elsewhere, the price the store shows in your currency).
- It may include a free trial (currently 3 days). If you don't cancel before it ends, the first charge happens that day; the app shows you the date before you start.
- It renews automatically every month at the same price until you cancel. If the price changes, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.
- The store where you downloaded Movut charges you: Apple through the App Store, with your Apple ID, or Google through Google Play (when available), with your Google account. We never see your payment details.
- Cancel: on iPhone, in the app (Settings › Subscription › Cancel subscription) or in your Apple ID settings; on Android, in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions. Do it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You keep access until the end of the paid period. If you cancel during the trial, you aren't charged.
- Refunds: requested from the store, under its terms: from Apple, also from the app (Settings › Subscription › Request a refund), or from Google through Google Play.
- Without a subscription you can still view and export all your data; creating and editing require a subscription.
5. Right of withdrawal and consumer rights
If you're a consumer, you have the right of withdrawal your country's law grants (14 days in the European Union; 10 in Argentina and Chile; 5 business days in Colombia, among others), exercised with the store (Apple or Google), which handles the sale. Nothing in these terms limits the rights your country of residence's consumer law gives you, including the right to complain to its authorities and courts.
6. Your content
- What you write is yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it, sync it, show it to people you share a project with and, if you ask, use it so the AI can suggest steps.
- You can export and delete it (or delete your account) at any time from Settings › Data.
- You're responsible for what you write and share. Don't use Movut for illegal content, content that infringes others' rights, or to harass anyone.
- Shared projects: their members see their content. If you see something illegal in a shared project, tell us at hola@movut.app. If we remove content or restrict an account, we'll explain why and you can respond.
7. AI assistance
The AI suggests steps from your project's or step's text, only when you ask. If your iPhone has Apple Intelligence, the suggestion is made on the iPhone itself; otherwise, and only with your permission, the text is sent to our AI provider. Suggestions may be inaccurate or unsuitable: review them before saving. They aren't professional advice (medical, legal, financial or of any kind).
8. Operation, updates and warranty
- The service must work as described. If it doesn't, you have the legal warranty rights for digital content and services: write to us and we'll fix it; if that's not possible, you can ask for a price reduction or end the contract.
- We'll release the updates needed to keep the app working and secure.
- If we change the service in a way that significantly harms you, we'll tell you in advance and you can leave.
- The service may have occasional interruptions (maintenance, provider failures). We'll do what's reasonable to avoid them.
9. Liability
We're liable for damage we cause as provided by law. We don't limit our liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or wherever consumer law doesn't allow it. Otherwise, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on the app or for losses caused by third parties (for example, your carrier or your device).
10. Leaving and ending the contract
You can stop using Movut, cancel your subscription and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend an account that seriously breaches these terms, explaining why. If we ever stop offering Movut, we'll give advance notice so you can export your data.
11. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. You can bring claims before the courts where you live. Before complaining, write to us: almost everything gets solved that way.
12. Terms required by Apple
- These terms are between you and Gabriel Jesús Alcarra Bolívar, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for Movut and its content.
- You get a personal, non-transferable license to use Movut on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
- We're responsible for maintaining and supporting the app; Apple has no obligation to do so.
- If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Claims about the app (product liability, failure to meet legal requirements, consumer protection, intellectual property) are ours to address, not Apple's.
- You represent that you're not located in a country subject to a US embargo or on any US list of restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
13. If you download Movut from Google Play
Once Movut is on Google Play, if you download it from there, Google Play's terms also apply to the download and the payment. These terms remain between you and Gabriel Jesús Alcarra Bolívar, not Google, and maintenance, support and claims about the app are ours to handle.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change them significantly, we'll tell you in the app before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.
